DISCOVER DIVING ITALY
Who can sign up?
Anyone who is comfortable in the water and can demonstrate the following water skills:
Swim 200 meters/yards (or 300 meters/yards in mask, fins and snorkel) without stopping.
There is no time limit for this, and you may use any swimming strokes you want.
Float and tread water for 10 minutes, again using any methods you want.
This trip is NOT open for students that already have PADI Open Water Certificate
IMPORTANT: Please note that you cannot go on a same trip twice.

Departure: September 2 - Monday
Arrival: September 7 - Saturday
Overnight trip: yes
Cost of the trip: 25 500 CZK
Meals: All food included (expect for Monday's lunch and dinner)
Spending money for snacks: 70 EUR

Insurance: Arranged by ISP along with all bookings

Course description
Have you ever had the urge to explore the beautiful and fascinating environment under the sea? Now is your opportunity. Students will train with highly qualified dive masters of the DWS Dive Center in Santa Margherita, Ligure, Italy. This four-day course will enable you to become a fully certified PADI Open Water diver. PADI certified divers are able to dive at thousands of locations worldwide and enjoy the beauty of our oceans from a different perspective. Students will be required to have the ability to swim 200 meters without assistance, must pass a written exam, must attend all training sessions, as well as complete four open water dives. Students must commit to completing the theoretical part of the course during the summer break. They will be handed all course materials for this. Upon successful completion of the course you will achieve the first step to a lifetime of enjoyment underwater. So don’t keep dreaming about diving, come join us in Italy for WWW 2019!

Use science to explore and examine the flora and fauna of the undersea environment.

Work Cooperatively and Independently. Scuba diving by its’ nature absolutely requires cooperation and support of each other. No one ever dives alone.
An authentic global education within a nurturing student-centered environment. This is a hands-on approach to learning. Students are required to engage with the instructors, ask questions to fully understand their roles, to work in a controlled environment with the stated purpose of becoming a PADI Open Water certified diver.
