Course Description
“Best life experience you will ever have” (Vivi L)
Students are going to volunteer at a school for refugee children, Happy Caravan. Together with experienced volunteers, they will co-plan, co-teach and evaluate the classes in Happy Caravan.
1) Students will learn about the refugee situation in Greece; teamwork; crisis classroom; do-no-harm approaches and much more
2) By being a part of the ISP-HC community, students will continue creating a change that is bigger than we are and building on the ISP-Happy Caravan partnership.
Happy Caravan school is located on the historic site of the Battle of Thermopylae. The volunteers are based at a small beach town, Kamenna Vourla about 15 min from the refugee center.
