Course Description
On this Week Without Walls trip students will engage with the theatrical works and stories of London. Through their experience of different art forms, they will learn how various directors, actors, playwrights take familiar tales and transform them into live, interactive performances. Students will also learn how the history of London’s history has influenced modern storytellers.
Impacts: Students will grow in confidence through navigating within a major European city’s public transportation system. They will use their experiences to expand their ability to tell stories about places that are significant to them. Students will also learn how location and geography can influence a story.

-Students will be empowered by the stories they hear that they can use in the formulation of their own.
-Students will work together to explore aspects of the city.
-Students will have a view of London that they will not necessarily have seen before. The concept behind the trip is to also show the non-tourist London; the London of its literature.
